(More customer reviews)If you watched the commercials thought this was so cool and that you should get it like I did, don't do it. It' s not all bad. To be honest I always hoped they would make one of these, but the result was disappointing. The basic design is a ball with the bottom cut off to make room for a trapdoor and a string shooting off the top.
The string is way to short, even for a little kid. It's about a foot and a half long. The instructions say to place it on a flat surface to pick up the figures, but even if you do you have to throw the thing down at least five times. Even when the figure went in most of the time it would get stuck and half of it would be sticking out. The trap door and string make the ball look unrealistic.
On the plus side, it's cool to actually have the basic design of a pokeball in your hand. It has three figures and a slider so it can still be played with. If you hold the pokeball in your hand instead of throwing it, you can pick up the figures by pressing the ball to them.
They also came out with a pokeball that launches pokemon out of it. I don't have it, but it looks much better than this does.
