(More customer reviews)Santa brought this for my 7 year old. As a kid I HATED Monopoly and rarely played it. I do not know much about the beloved Pokemon, either, but you don't need to know anything! We just loved this game. The games lasted 4-5 hours and the kids (7&10) sharpen their math skills with money counting and learn how to handle money on an adult level without even knowing it. You can shorten the game...but we never wanted to. It sure doesn't seem like the boring old Monopoly I remember as a kid. My 7 year old still crys when he has to mortgage property or lose a favorite Pokemon due to a competitor rolling double sixes but he always wants to play again! Nice family game!
