(More customer reviews)If I remember correctly, the price we paid (here) for this plush Pokemon toy was pretty reasonable. That more than anything makes us satisfied customers.
All of the Pokemon plush figures, and we have about 10 in the house now, are just fine as toys. There's no educational value per se, though our boys, aged 7 and 9, do use their imagination when playing with their collection. So that's pretty good.
This particular Meowth toy doesn't have anything like hard plastic eyes that can be bitten off, or anything else that could be dangerous to an infant or toddler. I bet all of the stuffed Pokemon are similar, but it's been years since we've been checking.
This toy stands about 5 inches high, and that's a good size if you think you could end up with a pile in your house like we have. We have two others that are about a foot long, and one even larger than that. In our opinion, this is the best size.
Something worth noting - Meowth is generally a "bad guy" character in the Pokemon cartoon. However, I've been told that he (she?) just hangs around with the cartoon series' bad-guy humans, yet on its own sometimes helps the other "good" Pokemon when they're in trouble. This is apparently not confusing to kids! But just be aware of this character's TV persona if you plan on giving this to a child as a gift. For the record, our 7-year was thrilled to receive it.
