(More customer reviews)This deck is excellent for many reasons, including the ones that are attributed to virtually every Pokemon theme deck. First of all, what is a theme deck? Well, a Pokemon theme deck features a pre-constructed deck with 60 cards, including Pokemon, Supporters, and Energy Cards. This one features Emboar, one of the starters in Pokemon Black and White. This deck doesn't just include a deck; it also has a coin (for flipping), a map that shows what goes where, a small cardboard box to store the deck, and a code card to play with this deck online. Unfortunately, this deck doesn't have a free booster like some of the more recent decks. Some changes have also been made to this deck - the deck mat is wider and less long because it is now for two players, and the rulebook has been removed and summarized on the back of the play mat. Overall, this is a good buy, especially as an introduction to the Pokemon TCG.
Note: If you're wondering why I gave "educational value" three stars (as opposed to one), it is because the basic rules of the game are on the back of the deck mat.
