This product is an awesome and much needed addition to the newest Pokemon Games for the Nintendo DSi, Heart Gold and Soul Silver. You can load a Pokemon onto it, and it has a little pedometer that tracks your Pokemon's steps as it follows you throughout your day. You can also battle/catch up to 2 additional Pokemon on it, and use the Dowsing machine to find up to 3 random items (i.e.: shards, potions, etc). And (BONUS!), if you and a friend both have Pokemon loaded into your Pokewalkers, you can point and 'Connect' them and your Pokemon will frolic/play together; when you do this, you get a gift item! Dorky, I know, but it's pretty damn supercool.
Please Note:
- This accessory comes FREE with Heart Gold and Soul Silver
- This accessory can ONLY be used with Heart Gold and Soul Silver
- If you lose your Pokewalker, you CAN 'force' the Pokemon in it to come back (read the game manual); you will also want to de-link your lost Pokewalker afterwards so you can sync your replacement without issue.
- Nintendo will send you a new Pokewalker for about fifteen bucks to replace a lost/stolen one.
