I was somewhat disappointed that ours has a bit of a difficulty standing up straight on its own (you kind of have to tilt him back on his tail), but my child does not seem to mind. It arrived in a bubble mailer, but in excellent condition. Shipped and arrived less than a week after my order. For the price, it's more for a collector or a gentle child. I wish the Espeon plush doll was available through Amazon - it is available direct from Japan or China on eBay, though.
