(More customer reviews)My six-year old son received this game for Christmas and we all had fun playing with it! It is easy for preschoolers to understand, with the object of the game to roll five of the same characters as in traditional Yahtzee. The only confusion may stem from the "wild card" character Ditto; some younger children may not understand why Ditto counts as another Pikachu, etc. Besides reinforcing matching skills, it also teaches counting as you count across the board to each of your markers to total your score at the end of the game. I gave this game a 3-star rating on durability only because the score board and character markers are made of cardboard. It is a very cute game and your little Pokemon trainer will have hours of fun with it!
