(More customer reviews)My daughter got the Shaymin keychain for one of her smaller birthday presents. He's one of her favorite Pokemon, and once we saw these, it was an instant buy. It's cool to see something not-so-basic for a very low price, plus it's great to see Pokeballs that open and close coming back after a few unsuccessful attempts over the last couple of years.
Shaymin is the standard keychain figure size, and they did perfectly with sculpting him. In fact, I think he looks more true to the original design than the bigger one that comes in the set with Yanmega and Wobbuffet. He's attatched to the keychain, and it's connected pretty well. The Pokeball has a small opening on one side so you can even use the Pokeball as a keychain ornament, though it's probably too big to fit in anyone's pocket (unless you still wear Jncos). The ball looks like it should, and all you do is press the button to open it up to access the Pokemon inside.
The reason I'm giving this 3 stars for durability is that the Pokeball is made of pretty thin plastic, and you could easily crush it in one hand by accident. Watch out when throwing it and pretending to catch things too, because if it contacts a hard surface, it'll be a goner.
These Pokemon keychain figures make great little gifts, and I'm about ready to go get one for myself too now. How can you say no to a Shaymin keychain??
