This toy should not be given to small children. It is really an adult collector item. It comes with a base and is pretty fragile. These Takara Tomy toys have become pretty bad recently in that a lot of them don't stand up, even when they are provided with a stand to sit them in.
I remember the days when all Pokémon toys were made perfect and you never had to worry if you would have to use quakewax to keep them upright. I guess those days are long gone, but at least this is one of the toys that doesn't have that problem.
A really cute, fun toy for this collector of all things Pokémon.
